Welcome to the World of The Relativist

I am proposing a new religion, a religion of relativism.  Those who follow the path of relativism, I call relativists.

As relativists we believe:

1. There is absolute truth, however this truth is unattainable.

2. Each of us has a piece of the puzzle of truth, called our positioned realities.

3. All positioned realities are valid, though they do not all have the same degree of power.

4. Life is predetermined, the future has already happened.

5. All of us have a destiny.  We may have clues as to what it is, but we can never know for certain everything about our destiny.

As relativists, our mandate is to:

1. Have non-judgmental understanding of as many positioned realities as we can assimilate.

2. Maintain the balance between positioned realities.  No one voice should dominate the discourse.  If required, we should be the voice of dissent.

3. To become our destiny - to do what we are meant to do.

This website deals with the potential volatile topic of religion.  I am not either for or against religion.  The purpose of this website is to provide my own point of view, my understandings of reality.  It has helped me go through life and it is my hope that it will help you understand your life a little better too.

The things I will talk about here are a bit controversial, especially for those who are secure in their own religions.  I welcome those with open minds to proceed forward.
