WELCOME TO THE CITY OF TONAWANDA

The City of Tonawanda is located along the picturesque Niagara River and the Gateway of the Erie Canal, along the route between Buffalo and Niagara Falls, New York. Our miles of waterfront parks offer spectacular views from Niawanda and Gateway Parks that bring visitors to our shores for the many summer activities we have to offer.

Tune to radio station WQFJ980 at 1670 AM the Tonawanda Information Station for City of Tonawanda.

Area Parks and Shelter Rentals

Our Parks Department has plenty of places for you to host your next event.  These include a park setting Gazebo for large weddings, a smaller gazebo along the river for intimate weddings, the Niawanda Pavilion for year round use, and outdoor park shelters for parties of any size.  Visit the Parks Department home page for more information on shelters and the Pavilion.
