Cera is a juvenile Triceratops. She stands two feet tall to the shoulder and is a neutral pale brown colour (not bright orange). Despite what is shown in the film, she has no teeth in the front of her mouth, only a bony beak. How, therefore, can she articulate to make human words? How, in fact can she speak perfect English? That’s one of the great mysteries of Milliways.
She is boastful, bossy and snobbish, but loyal to her friends and fun loving. She considers herself the leader of the group and will not admit when she’s wrong.
However, she’s also the clown, showing off and telling tales to impress her friends. She talks herself up a lot, and will make up things to show she knows what she’s talking about. For her, it’s mostly about being the centre of attention, and she doesn’t really mind how she gets it.
She does care for her friends. Very much so, but she's afraid of losing them, and afraid they'll think less of her if she shows a softer side, so she remains the clown, the boss, anything she can, to prove that she's not afraid.
