Kemp is tops again in Game 5


The Reignman's
dominance in the post
has helped swing the
series Seattle's way.


Seattle's Shawn Kemp -- who powered his way to 22 points and 11 rebounds in 46 minutes despite a painful chest bruise -- was selected as the Finals.com Player of the Game for the second straight contest.
Kemp received 364 (37.1 percent) of the 981 ballots cast. Teammate Gary Payton, who led the Sonics with 23 points and had nine rebounds and six assists, finished a close second with 307 votes (31.3 percent), while Chicago's Michael Jordan took third place with 185 votes (18.9 percent).
Other nominees for Game 5 were Seattle's Hersey Hawkins and Detlef Schrempf.
