Based on a best-selling novel by Danielle Steel, Mixed Blessings centres on three married couples whose relationships are challenged when they have to face such serious issues as infertility, infidelity, adoption, high-risk pregnancy and unresolved personal problems.
One couple, for example, are childless because the husband is impotent -- a secret hidden from his wife, who is pregnant. Another couple are incapable of having children and risk seeing their marriage destroyed because of the wife's depression. Adoption may be their only hope. The third pair of partners desperately want children, but postpone having a baby due to an interfering mother who insists her daughter's career take priority.
Douglas S. Cramer (Danielle Steel's Kaleidoscope, Danielle Steel's Vanished) is executive producer.
