Weekly Q&A;: What, Where, How, Why?
What does "Super Reload" do? What does "beta" mean? Where can you find Apple's Auto Power On/Off software? How can you put Netscape's browser into "kiosk" mode? Why don't we have more back-issue features online? Gosh, you folks are just full of questions.
New & Improved
Netscape Communicator has finally arrived on the Mac, intranet workgroup features and all. In other 'net news, we have updates to GIFmation and GoLive CyberStudio, Progressive Networks' RealPlayer 4.0, and a shareware news server from Peter Lewis - not to mention a Kaleidoscope update! All your favorite stuff, all in one place.
New arrivals on the proverbial bleeding edge include a feature-packed Internet mail server from CE Software, an upgrade to Microsoft's Personal Web Server, and a rockin' new version of ShrinkWrap.
And coming up tomorrow...
We're out of time for today - those Q&As; can be a real time-sink - but come back Thursday for some highlights of our little chat with Apple movers-and-shakers Jon "I'm a piker, I only have ISDN" Rubinstein and Avie "[Bill Gates] wasn't quite as big ten years ago" Tevanian.
