Every time a Web surfer accesses your site, the access is logged in a server log file. These log files can then be processed using a CGI script from World Wide Mart's Matt Wright and then accessed via Web browser.

Domain Name Service (DNS), gives you the ability to access your Web site with a URL of the form http://www.your_domain.com, rather than www.worldwidemart.com/chosen_url (see Directory Accounts). In addition, you can receive E-mail to your own domain. For example, rather than bobjoe@aol.com you can tell people that your E-mail address is bobjoe@bobjoe.com. With a Directory Account on World Wide Mart, you have the ability to start and maintain a web site under our (worldwidemart.com) domain name. You get a directory on our server. This is where all of your files to operate your site are stored. Just like the directories on your PC, our server works with directories. Each directory off the root directory is a separate part of a url. Sound confusing? Here's how it works:
We are http://www.worldwidemart.com/. When we set up your account with a name of your choosing, we also set up a directory on our server with that name. Let's say you chose "webwork". We would then create for you a directory on our server called "webwork" and it would appear as /webwork/ when you log on to upload your page information. Likewise, it becomes part of your url: http://www.worldwidemart.com/webwork/.
This service is $20.00 USD per month, (about 67 cents a day), gets you online. This pays for your directory and five megabytes (5 MB) of space. Your initial investment will require a three month commitment ($60.00). These rates are for personal or commercial Web pages.

Once your business grows, you can easily upgrade to a Virtual Account.You can have one or more aliases or nicknames for your mailbox and FTP/Telnet account. For example, if your mailbox is "your_login@worldwidemart.com" (that one comes automatically with your account), you can add an alias called "your_login_personal@worldwidemart.com". You can then get E-mail from EITHER address. This is different from mail forwarding, which physically sends your E-mail recieved to an entirely different mailbox.
You can also have one or more aliases for your virtual domain. For example, if your domain is "www.joebob.com" (that one comes automatically with a Virtual Domain Name Registration), you can add an alias called "sales.joebob.com" or even "billy.joebob.com". In other words, in any given domain name URL "xxx.your_domain", anything before the first period (reading from left to right) can be altered and added as an alias.
Order additional aliases and clear up the confusion.
Adding an additional mailbox means adding a whole new E-mail address (not an alias) and password to your system. For example, if you already have a mailbox called your_login@worldwidemart.com you can add an entirely separate mailbox called second_login@worldwidemart.com, which will have its own login and password.
Progressive Networks has created a server and player that allow Web surfers to instantly listen to audio files without having to download the entire file. To do this, Progressive Networks requires that the audio files be served by their Real Audio server.
