    The U.S. Lottery Player

One hundred million Americans share a common passion -- playing the lottery -- spending more than $34 billion in 1995. This huge demographic base is as diverse as America itself, cutting across all age, income and gender boundaries. In fact, when you look at the average lottery player, you are looking at the average American.

    State Lottery Players Digests

In February, 1996, LottoWorld, Inc. branched out into a new and exciting direction. With the formation of the Lottery Players Publishing Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of LottoWorld, Inc., LottoWorld began its efforts to work directly with state lotteries to produce state-specific Players Digests tailor-made for every kind of lottery player.

The Digests offer lottery players the kind of information they want and need: how to play specific games; lottery results and statistics; stories about lottery systems; strategies and tips; winners' spotlight; and much more. The Digests are vehicles for state lotteries to promote game introductions, cross-sell and market existing games, conduct player research and speak directly to the player.

Headed by former Louisiana Lottery Director, Bonnie Fussell, LPPC now has exclusive contracts with four key lottery states (New York, Georgia, Nebraska and West Virginia), pending contracts with two more states (Virginia and Massachusetts) and continues to grow, serving U.S. lottery players and the industry by providing quality information and products for its readers.

    Distribution

The sheer number of potential readers assures the success of the Digest program. Through the unique partnership of the state lotteries and LPPC, the Digests will be distributed at the point of sale at lottery outlets in each state.

There are more than 200,000 lottery retailers in the U.S. With an average distribution of 50 copies per retailer, the Digests offer a potential circulation in excess of 10 million copies per month.
