The National Allergy Bureau (NAB) is the section of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology's (AAAAI) Aeroallergen Network that is responsible for reporting its findings to the media. The purpose of the Aeroallergen Network is to study aeroallergens in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases. The AAAAI first began compiling information from its member stations and releasing the National Allergy Bureau Report to the media every Thursday afternoon in 1992. The NAB provides the most accurate and reliable information on pollen and mold levels. It is sponsored by a grant from Pfizer Inc and UCB Pharma, Inc.
