1997 AAAAI/AAI/CIS Joint Meeting
In 1997, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) will join forces with the American Association of Immunologists (AAI) and the Clinical Immunology Society (CIS) to present the first ever Joint Meeting between the three societies. Taking place February 21-26 in San Francisco, California, the meeting is sure to be the largest in the Academy's history.
The AAAAI/AAI/CIS Joint Meeting will feature all the strong clinical programming Academy
members have come to expect from the Annual Meeting, combined with an expansive
science-based program on immunology. This wide variety of sessions is expected to draw a balanced mix of over 4,500 investigators and clinicians to the conference.
Sessions focused on the following subject areas have been developed:
- Air Pollution and Airways
- Asthma Care Guidelines
- Dermatologic Diseases
- Environmental and Occupational Disorders
- Food Allergen Sensitivity
- Insect Hypersensitivity
- Internal Medicine Update
- Managed Care Institute
- Management of Allergic Rhinitis
- Nasal Cytology
- Pediatric Medicine Review
- Primary Immune Deficiency
All AAAAI, AAI and CIS members should have received a copy of the 1997 Joint Meeting preliminary program. The program includes descriptions of all the educational sessions and social events, as well as the necessary registration
and hotel reservation materials.
