M.D., D.O., or certain equivalent degrees from other countries, and enrolled in or completed an accredited allergy/immunology training program. (Ph.D., D.D.S., D.V.M., or other equivalent degrees may also qualify an individual for membership.)
Same qualifications as member, but reside in a country other than the U.S., U.S. possessions, or Canada.
After a minimum of five years from the time of graduation from medical school, and three years from the date of election to the AAAAI, members and corresponding members are eligible to apply for advancement to Fellowship and may be given the privilege to vote and hold office.

L.P.N., R.N., or P.A., associated with the practice of allergy, asthma, immunology, or a related field.
|Research Associate (Allied Health)|
Technologists or research associates who have earned degrees (such as B.S., B.A., M.A., or M.S.) and work in research laboratories associated with allergy, asthma, immunology, or a related field.
|Affiliate (Allied Health)|
Technical or administrative personnel in the field (such as allergy technicians or pharmaceutical employees) who do not necessarily possess an advanced degree.
