About Chakrams. In most Chinese arts, they are defined to use as weapons to flail and to shear limbs (whack off their legs). Many different versions of the Chakram have been around i even learned that the Shaolin used Chakrams although they where smaller than normal Chakrams. (ahemm remember mortal combat the game). Anyways Chakrams are made in all different sizes. Most though are made from a metal that is rust resistant. They must be the right weight and size. some are just normal flat disks of metal while others have a more aerodynamic edge and shape. The most normal use of Chakrams in combat would be to throw large numbers of them into rushing troops. Most of the time i imagine when they was used right the victim never seen it comming, just whack no arm. Anyways somewhere down the line Chakrams went from this into, a more sophisticated art. Where as one could learn and perform more maneuvers with them, Example our beloved Warrior Princess.
