The Low Bullshit Guide to St. Louis

This guide was conceived (and so far, written) by me, J. Brad Hicks. I wanted something that I wouldn't be embarrassed to show an out-of-town friend. I wanted a guide to St. Louis that gave a better idea of what St. Louis looked like, and what it felt like to be in St. Louis. I wanted a guide that gave practical advice on getting around (and getting along) in St. Louis.

Update: Back when I started this guide, the "other" St. Louis guide was nothing but a bunch of business ads and reprints of Regional Commerce and Growth Association pamphlets. Joe Haspiel's done a much better job lately, especially linking in personal pages from other St. Louisans (including mine). I cross-reference his pages, too.

Still, no other "city guide" has conveyed to me a feeling for what it's like to be a St. Louisan, or to be in St. Louis. That's what I hope you'll get a handle on from this Guide. I also hope you'll understand why I love this town so much, big lumps and all.
