and 1,700 TrueType fonts
all for only
$17.95 a year
Full-price. No extra download costs or fees.
Dear Graphics Enthusiast,
Imagine - over 600,000 print-quality clip-art images, photographs, web-graphics and
1,700 fonts at your disposal. Perfect for web pages, newsletters, brochures, flyers,
advertising, business cards, presentations, notices, posters, signs, fax cover sheets -
just about any desktop publishing application you can think of, for virtually any use;
personal, business, school, club, church - you name it.
Now imagine all this for only $1.50 a month.
Welcome to ArtToday's gigantic on-line image and font archive...
In 1995, we were the first clip-art publisher to fit 100,000 images on CDs. However,
when I asked my software engineers to squeeze 600,000 images into a CD package they all
laughed at me! I learned it would take over one-hundred CDs and a six-thousand page manual
to hold a collection of that size - costing well over seven-hundred dollars.
Still, my request challenged our R&D department. Soon after they discovered the
Internet - which turned out to be a perfect way to distribute our huge archive - at a tiny
fraction the cost of CDs. It took awhile to work out the kinks, but here it is...
ArtToday - a giant leap forward in image delivery systems
Our web-pages are powered by a smok'n fast T3 Internet connection, a Sun
UltraSparc® workstation, and a Verity® search engine - making ArtToday as responsive and
fast as the finest sports car.
135-Gigabytes of clip-art files and fonts for you to download
Here's a very condensed description of our collection...
- More than 100,000 images from Dover Publishing's world-famous clip-art archive - each
meticulously scanned at 600 dots-per-inch to satisfy the most demanding desktop publisher.
This collection (our DeskGallery Megabundle) sells for $149.95 - yet every image in this
collection can be downloaded by ArtToday members.
- There are also 50,000 vector images in EPS PostScript®, WMF, and PICT formats, from the
prestigious GraphicCorp® archives. These hand-drawn images alone sell for $50 or more in
retail stores.
- 450,000 more images have been carefully scanned from thousands of rare books containing
illustrations by famous, and not-so-famous artists and photographers, including DaVinci,
Beardsley, Dore, Van Gogh, Monet, and Whistler. Every possible subject is covered in
detail.
This unique collection is not available elsewhere. It includes beautiful pen and pencil
drawings, lithographs, woodcuts, color plates, halftones, etchings, and engravings - for
every possible purpose and use.
5,000 icons, buttons, bullets, and more
While web-page designers can use any of the 600,000 images or 1,700 TrueType fonts in
their web-pages, we've also provided thousands of buttons, bullets, and icons specifically
designed for HTML pages. And they're all categorized for easy retrieval.
Just drop these transparent images in your web pages - or use the RGB Photoshop®
layered versions for spectacular, professional results.
Why waste another minute surfing slow amateur sites for "free" web-graphics
when our search pages are easier to search and ten-times faster - and if your time's worth
anything, we're cheaper than free at $1.50 a month. Oh, by the way, 5,000 is just a start
- we'll be adding thousands more in coming weeks.
50,000 Stock Photos
Unbelievable as it sounds, our collection also contains 50,000 photographs - most
scanned directly from transparencies or slides - so there's plenty of resolution for print
or web-pages. They're saved in JPEG format for fast downloads, even with slow modems.
We top off the collection with 1,700 fonts for Windows® and Macintosh®
We've got headline fonts, body fonts, drop caps, dingbats, button fonts, and hundreds
more. You get full-character previews of the fonts on-line so you'll never waste
time downloading the wrong font. And they're all categorized and keyworded for easy
retrieval. Why spend $50 or more for a font organizer when we do all the work for
you?
By the way, these are not shareware or public domain fonts. Each TrueType font was
professionally crafted and kerned by the respected typographers at Weatherly Systems, Inc.
- so you get high-quality output on laser printers and typesetting equipment.
Visual encyclopedia beyond compare
One aspect of ArtToday I often forget to mention is the huge number of historical
images. We have pictures of Franklin Roosevelt, Hitler, George Washington, Benedict
Arnold, Shakespeare, Napoleon, Copernicus, Adam and Eve, Moses, Neanderthals, dinosaurs,
and lots more. There are images of famous battles, old cars, railroad trains, strange
devices, and even stranger mythological creatures and gods.
There are categories for holidays, animals, plants, architecture, anatomy, trades and
occupations, school supplies, sports, desktop publishing borders and symbols,
transportation, - the list would go on for pages and pages.
And finding these images has never been easier - just type in a keyword like
"Stalin" or "Mammoth" and you'll get a selection of previews to choose
from. Students, teachers, historians, and artists have never had it so good (or easy).
Think of the inspiration you'll derive from this collection!
Professional designers have referred to ArtToday as an idea factory. If they need
ideas for a brochure, an ad, a newsletter, or a flyer - all they have to do is browse our
collection to get their creative juices flowing.
Easy as 1, 2, 3

all there is to it.

products, and more for over a decade.

Nobody beats this value!
