The MRTF conference has just completed another successful run and in case you missed it we had another conference to be proud of. Clark and Zac did a wonderful job lining up speakers for the general sessions. There were a great many topics that were covered in great detail and I believe there was something for everyone. The trade show keeps getting better each year. The entire board of directors should be commended on a job well done the show continues to improve each year and give all who attend their moneys worth.

This years recipient of a scholarship through the Daniel Fund was Brian Fry. Brian is a senior at Purdue University and is majoring in Turfgrass Sciences. As I understand, Brian is well over a 3.0 student and will be graduating in May. Congratulations to Brian on a job well done!

Our reception at the Westin on Tuesday of the conference was what I would consider a complete success. Without a doubt one of the better attended functions we've sponsored. A special thanks to all of our vendors who contributed to this function, it would have been impossible to put this function on without their help. I hope this will become an annual event since it was so well received.
