The Turf and Ornamental Seminar on
November 18 - 20 in Lafayette.
This is an in-depth three-day seminar designed for superintendents, assistants and other key people on your staff. Topics include biological controls, soil microbiology, potassium, micronutrients, patch diseases, pesticide spill procedures, native area management and much more. This seminar qualifies for 9 CCHs in both Cat 3a and 3b, plus we have requested GCSAA Certification Units and expect 1.5 hours like it received last year. The 1998 Midwest Turf Expo will be held January 20 - 22 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN. Featured speakers include Bob Brame of the USGA, Lee Burpee of the University of Georgia, Rick Brandenburg of North Carolina State University, Dale Getz and Dan Brazo of University of Notre Dame, Randy Kane of the Chicago District Golf Association, Keith Karnock of the University of Georgia, Larry Messina, President of PLCAA, AJ Powell of the University of Kentucky, Bal Rao of Davey Tree Co., and Tommy Witt of the GCSAA and Wynstone Golf Club and many more industrial representatives, golf course superintendents and sports turf and lawn care professionals.
