Tongue twisters are silly phrases, sentences or stories that reuse the same initial sound or sound cluster over and over.

When reading tongue twisters it’s often easy to say them once but can you say them quickly? Or can you say them more than once? Often you get your words all mixed up or silly sounds are pronounced.

Here are a few tongue twisters which were written by Grade 5 students. Each student wrote a personalized tongue twister that included their own name and added an illustration.
