Getting an LBA BIOS Upgrade

LBA (Logical Block Address), one of the features of Enhanced IDE, is a new technology which makes it possible to access IDE drives with a capacity greater than 528MB (1024 Cylinders, 16 Heads, 63 Sectors). The LBA BIOS will translate the physical parameters into something DOS can understand.

If you are a DOS/Windows user and your present controller does not support this feature, you can still get the maximum out of your harddrive by by using our LBA BIOS with your DC4030VL-1, DC4030VL-2 or DC200. Your new BIOS is shipped with a set of drivers and an installation guide. There is a nominal charge of US$20.- ($25.- for international orders) which includes shipping and handling. California residents please add $1.65 Tax.
