Effective March 2, 1998 the Downtown Library is temporarily closed, due to the demolition of the Hudson's building. The Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped is now at the Douglass branch. The International Language Collection will be available at the Parkman branch in June. The newspaper collection is in the Browsing Library at Main Library. Plans are for the Downtown Library to reopen in June 1999.
