Prehistoric ceramics, prehistory of eastern North America, ethnohistory of southern New England tribes, inter/intra-site spatial analysis of artifacts/assemblages, data visualization, network technology for teaching and research, neutron activation analysis, classic punk rock, predictive modeling, cultural ecology, cultural resource management.

Projects
Co-Developer of ArchNet (with Tom Plunkett), the WWW Virtual Library for Archaeology and member of the ArcticCircle development team with Tom Plunkett and Norman Chance. Tom and I also helped put together SAAweb, the WWW site for the Society for American Archaeology.
