December 5, 1998 - Craig - As you may have noticed, our affiliate, Cool Info, has been down for the past day.  I just talked to the Ed, the owner, and he said that because of the problems he has been having with his current host, he is changing hosting companies.  He is actually going to be going with the same company we use (good pick Ed).  If you have anything for him, he can be reached at his Hot Mail account for now.  He will be back up as soon as his current host fixes the problem or Internic modifies the IP address that coolinfo.com is pointing to.

December 5, 1998 - Craig - Madden Central has posted the Week 14 Roster updates for Madden 99.

December 5, 1998 - Craig - Gaming Age has posted a review of Test Drive Off Road 2.  They like it a little better than I do, but not much.

December 5, 1998 - Craig - The EA Sports web site has been updated to give you easy access to some of the non-US games such as Cricket, Premier League Manager and Rugby World Cup.

December 4, 1998 - Craig - I know Dan thought he had seen the last of these, but not yet; The Techs has posted a review of Microsofts Motocross Madness.   Needless to say they like it.  If you don't own this one, it should be on your list this holiday season.

December 4, 1998 - Craig - I just got finished taking a few test runs on the NASCAR Revolution demo.  If you like NASCAR Racing, have a 3D card and even consider downloading 30 Meg demos, grab this one.

December 4, 1998 - Craig - EA has released the NASCAR Revolution demo.  The demo can be downloaded from our server here.  It is 30 Megs. (3D Card required)  You can get all the system requirements and more from the readme file right here.

December 4, 1998 - Craig - About 2 weeks ago we mentioned that we had a new reviewer coming on and have not said much about him since.   Well as an update, he tried to do a major system upgrade that ran into problems.   I am not going to go into details about them, but  I just got off the phone with him and he is up and running.  He will be doing most of the hardcore sim stuff here at Operation Sports.  His first reviews are going to be Grand Prix Legends followed by Viper Racing.

December 4, 1998 - Craig - I saw over at PC Sports Games that High Gear has posted a review of Viper Racing.   Yes Mike those stars do look familiar.

December 4, 1998 - Craig - Intelligamer has posted a review of Links LS 99.

December 3, 1998 - Craig - FIFA 99 has NOT been recalled.  I can't count how many e-mails we have gotten asking about this.   For those of you in the US, you will see that it is still on the shelf at your local store.  For those outside the UK, don't worry, the ship date has not slipped as the other rumor has it.  We think the reason that rumor started is because the Playstation version actually shipped early (how often does that happen?).  As for the recall rumor, it is not and has never been true.

December 3, 1998 - Craig - I saw over at AGN3D that Roaster Coaster has posted an article talking about some of the PC football games out.

December 3, 1998 - Dan - Digital Sports' reigning driving ace, Randy Magruder, has posted his review of Viper Racing. If you haven't read any of Randy's racing reviews, I strongly recommend you check them all out, because he really knows his stuff. Check it out here.

December 3, 1998 - Dan - Because we've received so many emails about it, we wanted to let you know that Inside Games has a review of Knockout Kings for the PSX, and they love it. One can only hope that it will show up for the PC at some point!
