"Since my first published book of visual poetry, Remote Control , I had been mostly producing individual color artworks which ended up being given away to friends. Of course this meant that I didn't have many of my original pieces anymore. So, I began to do small editions of black-and-white ('ghost versions') of my color work. These limited editions were numbered and signed and given to friends and other concrete poets. That way I could at least hang onto some of my originals." --Henry W.Targowski.
