Vijay:-

"It's 6 years now since I came to act as hero in films. So far I have received a number of awards. But the present award by Tamilnadu Government has given me very great happiness.

Only this year I got "Kalaimaamani" Award by the golden hands of Tamilnadu Chief Minister. Again in the same year, through the Selection Committee of Tamilnadu Government, I have been selected for the Best Actor Award. This gives me double joy!

I was accepted as an actor by the distributors, producers and the audience. Now Tamilnadu Government has accepted me as an actor and has given me due recognition. I feel proud of it. I convey my heart-felt thanks to the Committee that selected me and the Tamilnadu Chief Minister.

My joyful thanks to "Kaathalukku Mariyaathai" director Fazil, producer Sangili Murugan, the fans and the journalists! It's not merely an award for my acting. More than that it's a "mariyaathai" (great respect) given to all those and their hardwork, who enabled the film "Kaathalukku Mariyaathai"to become a super hit one!"

Ananda Raj:-

"After my entry into cinefield, all these years I had the following longing in my heart: Won't I get any due recognition in this acting profession?
Until 2 years before, in the award list of Tamilnadu Government there was no award meant for villain actor! Only from last year onwards, Tamilnadu Government is giving away award to villain actor also. I feel very happy that at the 2nd year since the Government's announcement to give award to villain actor, I have been selected as the Best Villain Actor! The fact that the Government has recognised me as a talented artist gives me greater satisfaction. For that I do convey my gratitude on behalf of my family and myself to Chief Minister and the Selection Committee.

I saw this film 15 times. In this Sarath Kumar had acted better than me. I liked his acting very much! I convey my thanks to producer R.B.Choudri, director Vikraman, friend Sarath Kumar and the general public who made this film a grand success."
