Second chapter of acclaimed chronicle of Project Koko now online!

The Gorilla Foundation was established in 1976 to promote the protection, preservation and propagation of gorillas. Project Koko, a primary focus of The Gorilla Foundation, involves teaching a modified form of American Sign Language to two lowland gorillas, Koko and Michael. In addition, The Gorilla Foundation is developing a unique preserve for gorillas on the island of Maui, Hawaii.
