                      THE SECRET

   ''Hey Adam,thanks for helping me walk my cousin to school,''Rocky 
said as they were walking through the park.
   ''No problem.I was once a new kid too.I know how she must feel.''
     Rockys cousin was moving to Angel Grove,and Adam had agreed to help 
Rocky make his cousin feel at home.They told her to meet them at a picnic 
table near her house.
   ''Is that her,''asked Adam as he pointed to a short brown haired girl 
around 13.She was just sitting there with some headphones on writting.
Rocky walked up to her and asked,''Um,is your name Elizebeth?''
   ''Liz,'' she replied,''call me Liz.''She hadnt even glanced up.She 
didnt seem excited or anything.
   ''Okay,well I'm your cousin Rocky and this is my friend Adam.''Liz 
looked up.Her bright blue eyes sparkeld in the sunlight.
   ''Okay,''she said suddenly with a bright smile,''lets go off to 
whatever the school is called around here.''
   Once they were walking along Rocky began to notice that his cousin was,
well,different.She was wearing a bright orange shirt with faded jeans,and 
white shoes.But she also had on black socks with purple cats all over 
them,and cows eating watermelons earrings.
   ''Hey Adam,do you think Liz is a bit differnt from us normal people.I 
mean she looks nice but seems to be out of whack,''he whisperd,''you 
know...''As he looked over at Adam he stopped his sentance in mid-air.
Adam looked as if he was lovestruck.
   ''Adam.Hey Adam.Woohoo,earth to Adam.Geeze,you look as if you like her 
better than Tanya.''
   ''Huh?'' Adam said,''what did you say?''
    ''Do you like her or somthing.I mean,you had this wierd look on your 
face.''
    ''I think I might.She doesnt seem to be afraid of what people think of 
her,she's beautiful,and strange.''
     ''Strange is right,''mumbled Rocky.
    ''Hey,''cried Liz,''a snail could crawl faster than what your walking."
    ''Alright already.Gosh'' muttered Rocky.He looked over at Adam.The love 
struck face was on him again.''Ahh,'' Rocky mummerd.
    They walked on in silence.Rocky noticed that whenever Liz tossed her 
hair,Adam let out a little sigh.
    After about the 5th sigh Rocky got annoyed.''Listen Adam.."but his 
sentence was cut short by a flashing rip in the sky and out jumped cogs.
"Cogs,"yelled Adam.Liz screamed.
    "What do we do"asked Rocky,"we cant morph when Liz is around."
    "Then lets just fight"he yelled.They both started to fight the cogs.In 
the background they could hear Liz screaming as she was being captured by 
cogs.Soon Rocky and Adam were held by cogs too.Suddenly a monster appeard 
out of nowhere.Rocky and Adam kept trying to get free but it seemed 
impossable.Liz was still screaming.
    The monster looked alot like a mirror with a head,feet,and arms.The 
cogs that held Liz,Rocky,and Adam were going towerd the mirror.All three 
were trying their hardest to get free.
   Suddenly the cogs threw Liz at the mirror,but insead of crashing into 
it she went right though it.
  "Liz," cried Rocky.He watched in horror as the cogs threw Adam in after 
her.Just after Adam was thrown in the other rangers teleported to where he 
was.Ater a few perolous moments of tackling the cogs the cogs dissapeared, 
leaving just the rangers and the monster.
   "Zeo blast him now"cried Tommy.
   "Ahh you cant hurt me,"the monster cried back to the rangers.
   "Wait no. Dont hurt him.Adam and Liz are trapped inside him,"creid 
Rocky as he jumped in front of the rangers.
  "Smart idea"cried the monster and at that instant he dissapeared.
    "He's gone"cried Tommy,"and now we have to find him"
   Inside the mirror was just a small room.And where they had come in was 
just a glass shied.They could see through it but could go through it.
    "Oh man"cried Adam,"were stuck here"He pounded his hand against the 
glass.
   "Were stuck," said Liz,"oh great this really makes my day compleate.She 
sank down onto the floor.
   Adam looked out through the glass.He couldnt tell where they were but 
most likely the park.He looked back at Liz.She had taken a book out of her 
backpack and was reading.Adam couldnt help it.As much as he liked Tanya, 
he liked Liz a lot better.He had to get them out somehow.
   "We've got to get Liz and Adam back somehow,"cried Rocky.
    "And that is so far impossable.I've tried every way so far."stated 
Billy.
    "Hey dont worry pal,"said Tommy patting him on the back,"we'll get them 
out.It's  just taking some time."
    "Rangers," boomed Zordon,"I'm afraid we have another problem.Until we 
get the others back we cant stop the monster from taking over Angel Grove.
"In the viewing globe they could see him destroying the town.
    "We have to stop him"cried Tanya.
     "I'll go and destract him,"said Jason calmly,"it'll give us some time 
at least.
    "Are you sure"asked Kat.He nodded his head and in a moment he was 
teleported down to earth.
    "Good luck,"whisperd Rocky to himself.


                    THE SECRET Part2

          
   Adam sat down after a while.He had run out of ways to try to get himself 
and Liz out of there.The only other way was if he morphed,and he was'nt even 
sure if he could morph.Anyway he didn't want Liz finding out his secret;at 
least not yet.
   Liz kept on reading.Adam couldn't believe that she was so silent.
  "Why the long face,"he asked,"you know the power rangers will save us most 
likely."
  "Yeah,"she answered,"and I hate to say this but I wish I was in school."
  Adam decided to make a conversation.If they were stuck someplace together 
why not find out more about each other.
   "So,where did you move from?"
   Liz looked up and replied,"I'd rather forget that place if you don't mind.
Nobody liked me there anyway."She went back to her book.How could anyone not 
like her Adam thought.He looked back out though the glass.They still seemed 
to be in the park.He wished he could do something,but nothing came to his 
mind.It seemed hopeless.He looked out of the glass again and suddenly saw the 
gold ranger!
  "Hey,"cried Jason,"let my friends go or else."The monster turned around to 
look at him.
  "You'll never hurt me you ranger dweeb."Suddenly from out of the mirror came 
a blue energy streak that hit Jason."Your powers will never match mine."
  ''The gold ranger,"cried Liz,"but it looks like his butt is getting kicked."
   "Pretty bad too"answerd Adam.The gold ranger didn't seem like he was being 
much help.
  "Zordon,"cried Billy,"I think I might have it."He looked down at some papers.
  "Well what is it"asked Tommy as he and the other rangers walked over to where 
Billy was.
   ''The outside part of the mirror is strong but the inside is very weak.The 
zeo blasters could take care of it in a second.But there is a problem."
  "What is it,"asked Tanya.
   ''I did a scan on the inside of the mirror.It's just like another dimention.
You cant morph at all.You can though keep the zeo blasters."
  "So Liz going to know who we are,"stated Kat.
   "Exactly,"replied Billy,"but now we need someone who will go into the 
mirror."
   "I will,"said Rocky,"it's my cousin and my best friend."
   ''Well just be careful we still don't know what goes on inside of it,"
cautioned Tommy.
   Billy handed Rocky Adams zeo blaster."Give this to him okay?"Rocky nodded 
and then all the rangers morphed and teleported to the park.The other rangers 
had planned to desract the monster while Rocky went though.
  ''Look"cried Liz ,"the rest of the power rangers."Yeah,"Adam wispered back,
"just in time."The rangers helped up the gold ranger and started to fight the 
cogs.
  "Are they going to save us or what,"asked Liz.Adam just watched them.He 
wanted to help his friends so much
  Suddenly the blue ranger ran towerd the mirror.Adam and Liz both shoved 
themselves against the wall just as Rocky went through the mirror.As he did 
he turned from the blue ranger to Rocky.
  "Whoa"he cried as he landed,"that was totally awesome."
  "So you have a way to get us out,"asked Adam smiling.Rocky answered by 
saying,"yeah it took Billy a long time but yes we do have a way."Liz stepped 
forward."Your...your..a power ranger."
  "Zeo"Adam added.Then the two rangers raised the zeo blasters and shot the 
mirror.As Rocky and Adam got out of the mirror they morphed automaticly.Liz 
ran out of the way of the rangers as they fought more cogs.
  "Zeo cannon now,"all the ranngers cried.As they got the cannon they blasted 
it at the monster and he blew up.
  Back at the youth center Rocky,Liz,Tanya,Kat,Tommy,and Jason were sitting 
down at a table.
  "So what was it like in there,"asked Tanya,"not nice I bet."
  "Not the best,"she answered,"by the way if you don't mind me asking are you 
guys the..."
  "You caught us,"said Jason.Liz giggled. She had come knowing no one and now 
she had friends.
  "Hey guys,"said Adam as he sat down."Uh Tanya can I speak to you?"
   "Sure."Tanya followed Adam to a place where they could talk alone.
   "Um I hate to  do this but I mean I like you and all but I like Liz better.
I still don't know if she likes me but if she doesn't we can start all over 
again I hope 
  Tanya didn't look like she was hurt too much."It's okay.It wasn't like we 
had too much going on between us.Besides we can still be friends."
  "Yeah friends.And if she doesn't like me we can be the way we were."
  "Right."
