PlayStation Game of the Year

Tekken 3
Publisher: Namco
Developer: Namco

Yep. Tekken 3. We spent many minutes that turned into hours and hours that turned into minutes discussing the top PlayStation game. And after much deliberation and a few black eyes, it had to be Tekken 3. Yes, Metal Gear Solid is amazing, but we've all played it and played through it, and we're not going back again and again and again the same way we are with Tekken 3. It still hangs on as a game you can get more and more out of. Jeff Gerstmann called Tekken 3 "an extremely complete fighter that squeezes more power out of the PlayStation than anyone thought possible." The depth of the game combined with the speed and fact that it's just plain fun make Tekken 3 our top PlayStation choice.
