A brief word from the new maintainer: I consider it a great honour that Wordman has felt me fit to take over the ShadowFAQ. I have long considered the ShadowFAQ one of the finest Shadowrun resources available online, and I plan to continue holding the ShadowFAQ up to the high standards that have made it such a popular and well respected site.

Please note that in some places in the FAQ it looks like two people are talking. That's because they are -- 95% of the current FAQ was written by Wordman, and I don't see the need to go through and re-write everything in my own words. If you need to know who wrote a particular passage, feel free to contact me and I'll do my best to find out for you.

Introduction

This page answers some FAQs (frequently asked questions) about FASA's Shadowrun® role-playing game and suggests some house rules aimed at fixing some of Shadowrun's deficiencies. A recent move has prompted a slight redesign, as you may notice. This file is more of a general index to all the seperate files that make up the ShadowFAQ. There are seperate files available for Shadowrun First Edition questions, Shadowrun Second Edition questions, Shadowrun Third Edition questions, and General Shadowrun questions. In addition, most of these sections are also broken down by distinct categories. Note that any questions that apply to more than one version will appear with the newest version it pertains too -- a FAQ from First and Second Ddition would be in the Second Edition section, while one that pertains to all 3 editions will be in the Third Edition section

This page is not intended to address issues about the Shadowrun Trading Card Game. That is best done elsewhere. In particular, check out the SRCard Mailing List Homepage.
