The R.W. Norton Art Gallery houses incomparable collections of American and European paintings, sculptures and decorative arts spanning more than four centuries. It also has impressive collections of works by those titans of Western art, Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell.

The Gardens
The R.W. Norton Art Gallery invites you to visit the beautiful azalea gardens containing over 10,000 plants. It is open to the public throughout the year.

American Landscapes from the
Paine Art Center & Arboretum, Oskosh, Wisconsin
September 5 to October 24, 1999
The exhibit contains 47 works, including 38 paintings, along with 9 etchings and lithographs. The exhibition presents over a century of Realist, Tonalist and Impressionist paintings and works on paper, including examples by well-known artists such as James MacDougal Hart, George Inness, Ralph Blakelock, Thomas Moran, Winslow Homer, the Regionalist painters Grant Wood and Thomas Hart Benton, among others.

A 14' flocked tree with hundreds of ornaments featuring Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Woodstock and, of course, Snoopy.

• Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
• Closed Mondays and national holidays

Admission

Admission is free. The Norton is handicapped accessible and wheelchairs are available at no charge
