Christmas Star

This pattern was lifted straight out of the pages of Heritage Patterns: Tatting Designs of Norma Benporath. This booklet is a 1995 Project of the Queensland Division of the Australian Lace Guild. The pattern in the book makes up as the star above, yet the photograph shows a 6-pointed star. This can be done by adding an extra 2 picots to the centre ring.

The star above is shown original size and was tatted using Size 60 Coates mercer crochet cotton.

Chain 7ds join to last p of outstanding ring 7ds p 3ds.
