Dancing the Endless Dream, is a Fairth (Otherkin) oriented Gathering being held at Enchanted Rock. All Fairth (Otherkin) and Fairth-friendly types are invited and welcome! Vendors, musicians, entertainers are also welcome. We who were once alone and scattered are now connected with families, friends, and lovers. We have songs, poetry, wisdom and art, love and mirth to share. The Gathering continues in the season of blossoms to explore once again our Dreams, our visions, our memories and our connections to each other. Now we come together to Dance, to be inspired anew and to dream new dreams in the Endless Dream of our story.
This is a Call for Workshops! Anyone who would like to have a talk, lead a group, or if you just have an idea or something you would like to see, e-mail me - sileniel@TAKETHISOUT.usa.net. I'll post information about workshops as they are gathered to the Endless Dream website - currently under construction, URL to follow.
Enchanted Rock State Park is about 3 1/2 hrs south of the Dallas / Fort Worth area, 1 1/2 hrs west of Austin, and 1 hr north of San Antonio. Admittance is payable at the park, but please send a note to firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know you'll be there!
Adults - $7 per person per nite. Pay at the park!
(This covers a $5 per person per night camping fee and a $9 per site per night campsite fee).
Children under 12 are admitted free!
No vending fee, please contact me to let me know you'll be there so I can make room in the vending area for you.
Bring your tents, but please no motor vehicles such as RV's or trailers. The sites are called walk-in water sites (25 to 100 yards) and include nearby restrooms with showers; picnic tables, and fire rings. Camping fires are allowed in fire rings and the barbeque pits. There is a maximum of 8 people per campsite (we have 4 reserved).
The average temperature for this area for late May is in the lower 90's. Plan for warm days, but possible cool nights. Remember the bug repellant, you'll be glad of it J . Sturdy shoes, or hiking boots will definitely come in handy for romping around the grounds. Other handy things to bring are: Small first aid kit, trash bags, water jugs, tarps (these when strung up provide a nice dry spot in the rain). I would highly recommend bringing biodegradable soaps out of respect of Mother Nature.
The park is 18 miles north of Fredericksburg on Ranch Road 965, or from Llano, take State Highway 16 for 14 miles south and then go west on Ranch Road 965.
Anyone who is flying in to the area from out of town, and would like to caravan with us or needs a ride from the airport to the site, please write me. I can arrange for rides from DFW airport.
