About Myself
My name is Waldinei. I love my middle name: Lafaiete. It sounds chic! I have a lot of nicknames: Nei, Neizinho, Lafa, Neizutcho are some of them. That's the price I have to pay for such an unusual and long name! I am an English Teacher in São Paulo, Brazil and I SIMPLY LOVE WHAT I DO!!!!! I HOPE MY STUDENTS ENJOY THEIR CLASSES WITH ME AS WELL. I've been teaching for about 5 years and I must say it's quite challenging, especially because English is not my first language. I was going to forget to tell you I've been teaching privately and taught for two years at Universal English School in my city. By the way, you should know São Paulo. I love my former coworkers and most of them were a source of encouragement for me. Regina, Lisandra and Carla are teachers I look up to (What a creep I am!). I mean it! You should know them. I bet your English would get a little better. I'm a perfectionist and I'm always trying to improve whatever I do. If I was to choose a motto to identify myself I would go for: "YOU CAN ALWAYS DO IT A BIT BETTER". My goal is to be a very good teacher and I myself know it will probably take me years to get there. I love traveling. I wish I could travel very often. I've already been to California (twice last year), Germany and Switzerland where I have four lovely friends: Mark, Philipp, Sophie and Verena. I also know some beautiful cities in this huge country and I would recommend you to visit Porto Seguro. I love people and making friends. I really would like to tell you a bit about them but I am afraid this page won't be enough for all of them. Gene, in Sao Luis Obispo, California it is responsible for this Internet connection I have. I was dazzled when I saw it in his house and I got connected as soon as I came back to Brazil, one year ago. My email box is also full of messages from Sophie, a dear Belgium friend I met in S. Francisco. She also got connected after returning to her homeland. Sarti is one of my best friends and I think he is almost 10 years older than me. I've learned a lot from him . It's worth mentioning he is also an English Teacher and can speak French too. Smart guy! I also happy because I have just found a friend from years ago. We kind of lost touch but fortunately we are in touch again. His name is Moisés. He knows a lot of things about me. Smart and witty guy! My sister and my brother-in-law are very special people to me. It's too bad I don't see them very often. I felt like telling you a bit about my favorite students but I think that's not fair. Seems to me all of them try their best. Undoubtely, there are those who make my work a lot easier. My favorite song? Well, I like a lot of them but "THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT" from the play "THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA" is one of the best in my opinion. I also like Enya a great deal. Have you already heard the theme song to "TITANIC" by Celine Dion? Wow, it's so touching! And the movie? Well, awesome! You should see it.
