Fast Software Encryption 1998 (FSE5)


Last update: November 5th, 1998.

The first Fast Software Encryption workshop was held in Cambridge in December 1993, and followed by three workshops in Leuven in December 1994, in Cambridge in February 1996, and in Haifa in January 1997. The workshop concentrates on all aspects of fast ciphers, including the design and cryptanalysis of cryptographic primitives. The fifth Fast Software Encryption workshop was held from March 23 to March 25, 1998, in Paris, France. The workshop was organized by the Ecole Normale Supérieure, in co-operation with the International Association for Cryptologic Research. Its proceedings in now published by Springer-Verlag.
