He feels the web is a radical step for the liberation of the content provider, as it makes possible worldwide dissemination with near-zero cost of distribution, with enough inherent anarchy to finally put the creator and viewers in a position of control.

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Daniel attended an arts high school with a major of creative writing. He felt that the local writers/artists had no venue with which they could distrubute their artistic urges so a friend, Nate Terrill, and he created Oddities Compiled. It was a photocopy zine printed up at the local Mailboxes Etc. The response was good and they kept it going until Daniel left that awful place. Upon arriving in SF, Daniel felt that he shouldn't let his zine die so with a little knowledge of html he created an online version. And the rest....
