GALACTIC FINISHES MONGOOSE FOLLOWUP
Capricorn Records has issued a press release that Galactic has just finished recording their new album, due out April 4 of the new millenium. The Capricon press release states:
"Capricorn recording artists, Galactic, recently wrapped up recording in their hometown of New Orleans with producer Nick Sansano (Public Enemy and Sonic Youth). Sansano will begin mixing soon at Green Street Studios in New York City. The studios the band recorded at in New Orleans include Magazine Sound, American Sector, and Kingsway, the studio built and originally owned by acclaimed producer/musician Daniel Lanois, located inside a 1680s'era haunted French Quarter mansion. The new album is scheduled for release on April 4, 2000, and is the follow-up to Galactic's 1998 Capricorn debut, Crazyhorse Mongoose."
