Pivit is Chris Moore (Vocals), Micha
Alboa (Bass, Oohs & Aahs), James Banister (Guitar), Chris Lewis
(Guitar) and Adam Rapps (Drums).
Believe it or not, these guys have only
been together for about 4 years. Their demo "Find The Fuzz" was
a favorite in the San Diego scene, flying off the shelves instantly.
"Pressure," their full length debut, put out by Red-Eye Records
was produced by Scott Russo (Singer-Songwriter for Unwritten Law).
This release has 11 ultra-hip-pop-punk pleasers that are sure
to make you move your feet. The follow up album "Millennium" has
been one of Red Eye Records most eagerly anticipated releases.
Pivit has found itself in the middle of
the Action Sports-Punk Scene with many Trade & Industry shows
under their belt. Having their song "I Don't Know" on Jason Weatherly's
Surf Video "Factory Seconds" and their song "Hangnail" appearing
in Taylor Steele's hugely successful Surf Video Good Times has
introduced surfers, skaters, & snowboaders around the world to
a taste of their catchy style.
Pivit has been influenced by bands such
as Unwritten Law, NOFX, Bad Religion, and Lagwagon. They are open
to many styles of music(to Pivit, music is music). Pivit has been
opening up for such acts as Pennywise, Blink 182, Unwritten Law,
Sack Lunch, Ten Foot Pole, and Homegrown, to name a few.
