Old Barney
Amateur Radio Club

The Old Barney Amateur Radio Club (OBARC) meets at 8:00 PM the first Tuesday of every month at the Manahawkin Elks. OBARC recently celebrated its 20 anniversary making it one of the oldest amateur radio clubs inthe southern part of New Jersey. The club has approximately 150 members. About 50 people typically attend our monthly meetings.N2OB is the club call.

OBARC is an active organization participating in field day, various operating events, special events and contests. The club also performs fund raisers at local events such as the Barnegat Bay Decoy show and Stafford Founders day.

If you're studying for your license be sure to usetheseonline question pools for allclasses of amateur radio examinations. You can evengenerate and take a sampleexam. If you've taken an exam and not so patiently waiting for the resultsthe QRZ "New Hams" listingsis updated daily with FCC data.
