Surf City

In Surf City you can access the Internet

One of the best ways of introducing a completely new concept to a novice is to let them have a go themselves. Bearing in mind that our audience are predominantly non-specialists, it is essential that we give them the opportunity to have a go on the Internet.

The middle room of the exhibition contains eight computer terminals which provide access to the Internet. This area is called Surf City. To ensure that our visitors have the best possible experience the area is staffed by Life Guards who are on hand to answer questions and to help people access the network. They are also there to ensure that pornographic and other offensive material is not accessed and downloaded.

When the Information Superhighway exhibition is on tour it may not feature Surf City. However some venues will have Internet access.
