Husker Report
BY STEVEN PIVOVAR
WORLD-HERALD STAFF WRITER

What's new: Nebraska wrapped up its preparations for Sunday's Tostitos Fiesta Bowl game against Tennessee by practicing almost two hours in sweatclothes at Scottsdale Community College. The Huskers have made satisfactory progress in preparing for the game, Nebraska Coach Frank Solich said. "They feel good and they're ready to go," Solich said. "I'm glad we came down when we did. We worked them hard and wore them down some. Now they're coming off of that."
Who's hurting: Sophomore tight end Tracey Wistrom (knee) is the only top-line player that Nebraska figures to be without in Sunday's game.
Worth noting: Nebraska has been designated the home team for the game and will wear red jerseys. Tennessee will wear its white jerseys with orange and black trim as the visiting school.
Worth quoting: "It's time to play football. The game's been pretty much won or lost already. We really feel like we've prepared well and that it's going to turn out well for us." - Nebraska split end Matt Davison, on being eager to get the game under way.

What's next: The Huskers face a light schedule today with meetings scheduled throughout the day. The team will then hold a short walk-through practice at Sun Devil Stadium at 5:30 p.m.
