THE TWIN CITIES AREA COUNCIL OF CAMERA CLUBS, and its thirteen affiliated clubs, promote continuing education and fellowship for persons interested in photography. In the fall, TCACCC sponsors the Minneapolis-St.Paul International Exhibition of Photography, and in the spring a weekend of programs and an interclub competition.

  • "The CROSSTOWN CAMERA CLUB (Slides and Prints) meets the third Thursday of every month, September through June. We presently meet at the Wooddale Church, 6630 Shady oak Rd. Eden Prairie. The Club welcomes people with all levels of photo expertise and membership dues are $25/year. CCC is affiliated with the Edina Art Center.     The KAPOSIA KAMERA CLUB is a small club where beginners in print and slide photography learn new techniques, and advanced amateurs find challenges in frequent workshops.     The LITTLE CROW PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB (Prints and Slides) is a young club dedicated to helping members improve their photo skills, in a atomsphere of fun. We have an educational program or contest at every meeting. Every member has been exposed to judging, at our level of competition.     The MINNEAPOLIS PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY is a print club...both color and black and white...the only print club.We welcome visitors and new members from beginners to advanced photographers. Monthly meetings offer learning experiences, friendly competition and fun.     The MINNESOTA VALLEY PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB'S amateur and professional photographers explore various aspects of photography through monthly competitions based on theme and open categories.     The MINNETONKA CAMERA CLUB is dedicated to improving the skills of its members in 35mm color slides, color and monochrome prints. The club meets two Thursday evenings per month. The first is a competition meeting; the second is a program/education meeting. Competitions are judged by a panel of experienced members. Approx. 35 members.     The NORTH METRO PHOTO CLUB, with members from beginner to advanced amateur, has monthly slide competitions in a variety of categories, and several print competitions a year. In addition, the club provides instruction in black and white and color printing, producing travel sound/slide shows, as well as basic photography. Meets 3rd and 5th Thursday evenings of the month.     The ST. PAUL CAMERA CLUB, the oldest (1893) in the area, welcomes members of all skill levels. One meeting a month is devoted to slide and to monochrome or color print competition; the second meeting is devoted to educational programs.     The 3M CAMERA CLUB is a company-controlled group interested in color slides, color prints, and black and white prints. Membership is limited to 3M employees and family members, plus no more than 25% outside guests. There are separate monthly meetings for competition and for discussion and demonstration on the technical aspects of photography. Meets Tuesday evenings. Approx. 65 members.     The purpose of the TWIN CITIES DIGITAL IMAGING GROUP is to explore digital imaging from a photographic view point. Our main goal is to acquaint people with computers, the computer programs, and program techniques used by those skilled in creative computer art and image correction.
