MATCHUPS FOR - UFC XIX

UFC XIX:Ultimate Young guns.

It was another succesful night. There were some very good fights and one very bad fight. Tito stole the show again. For the second UFC in a row Tito grabbed the spotlight by beating another Lion's Den fighter.I took the fight in at Nationals Sports bar in Santa Ana, California. Another night that O-dog wasn't able to find me. Also taking in the fight there was Marco Ruas, Joe Moreira, And Alan Goes. I talked to all three of them and got a autograph from Marco. Marco was great I set up a interview with him for sometime next week. (Send your questions in) Marco said that he told the UFC he wants to fight in the May Brazil show. Joe Moreira was also very cool talked a bit with him. I will be interviewing him also. now for Alan Goes he was kind of a dick. I asked him for a autograph and he just looked at me and shook his head. Then after Tito beat Mezger my friend known as (tightass)said "you and Tito". He just said anyone anywhere. Overall it was a good night. The place was packed with Tito fans you should have heard that place when McCarthy stopped the fight they went crazy. Too bad Tank could not fight. Ok my camera man was crying that I didn't give him any ink. Ok here it is Malley. Where was the damn camera. And you wonder why you are on the bubble.

MAIN EVENT

GUY MEZGER
Houston, Texas
Submission Fighting
6'1" 199 lbs
Versus

Tito Ortiz
Huntington Beach, CA
Submission Fighting
6'2" 199 lbs

Tito comes in a dominates another Lion's Den fighter.I wonder what Mezger is saying now. He is probably off in some corner talking to Bohlander. You shouldn't open your mouth before a fight! Tito knows what's up. When asked if he was the best at his weight he laughed and said "NO"! "Everyone is built up too lose." He is right take a look...How many of you though Corture, Coleman, Belfort, Royce, Smith, Burnett, and Kerr would lose when you first saw them? Oh Kerr hasn't YET! Like Tito said there is always someone bigger and badder then you. One more thing someone needs to remind Ken Shamrock that it wasn't Monday night RAW out there. Not saying he wouldn't tear Tito up though. But come on almost all of the Lion's Den fighters were getting real cocky........I think they are being brought back down to reality. But they will be back.......

HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT

MAURICE SMITH
Seattle, Washington
Kickboxing/Grappling
6'2" 217 lbs
Versus

KEVIN RANDLEMAN
Columbus, Ohio
Wrestling
5'10" 208 lbs

Smith is done. He had no attack at all. I was afraid this was going to happen. Randleman looked good. But there is no way that he will beat Rutten. Remember this is the same guy that got killed by Erickson. Rutten will beat Randleman! Smith you just stay in TK's corner.

HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT

Andre Roberts

Pit Fighting
6'02" 270? lbs
Versus

GARY GOODRIDGE
Ontario, Canada
Freestyle Wrestling
6'2" 247 lbs

This fight was sick! I hope that no organization ever asks Roberts to fight again. He got hit one time and ran away tapping. There was always a question of Goodrdge's heart, how about this guys? HORRIBLE! But then after the fight Gooodridge starts doing all of his shit! "Where is my belt" "Where is my belt" What were your shorts falling down? He is along way from a belt. But he has come along way. Tank Goodridge next UFC!

HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT

PETE WILLIAMS
Huntington Beach, California
Submission Fighting
6'3" 235 lbs
Versus

JASON GODSEY
Indianapolis, Indiana
Intergrated Fighting
6'2" 235

This fight is about as I expected. But it went quicker then I expected. I want to Williams fight someone. Maybe the winner of Goodridge Tank.

MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT

EVAN TANNER
NORMAN, Oklahoma
Freestyle Fighting
6'0" 199 lbs
Versus

VAL IGNATOV
Concord, CA
Sambo
5'9" 187 lbs

Holy cow....Is Sambo's main teqnique to take punishment. He just layed there while Tanner kept crushing him in the face with elbows and punches. I could not believe it. McCarthy let it go for a lot longer then I thought he would. That was a surprise. Tanner is tough. Maybe Tanner vs Tito next? I would like to see either Tito or Tanner take on Pele. Brazil will be the perfect palce for that to happen.

MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT

JEREMY HORN
Moline, Illinois
Freestyle Jiu-Jitsu
6'1" 199 lbs
Versus

Chuck Lidell
San Louis Obispo, CA
Kickboxing
6'2" 199 lbs

Liddell came into this fight not even resembling the same guy that was in the ring with Pele. I know that Pele is a better fighter then Horn. Horn did good though. He always hangs in there in his other fights but now he hung in and got the victory. That was a weird thing at the end he just chocked him out. Liddell didn't know where he was.
