WELCOME TO THE AFEJ HOMEPAGE!
AFEJ is a non-government organization (NGO) dedicated to promoting education, understanding and awareness of the environment through the honest and accurate reporting of local, regional and international environmental and development issues.
It acts as the head of national environmental journalist forums of 37 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Members include journalists working for newspapers, magazines, radio, broadcasters, NGOs, environmental groups, government departments and agencies and as freelancers.
Breaking News
The 13th Asia-Pacific and 4th Commonwealth Congress will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from June 11-15, 2001. The theme for the event will be "Reporting on Eco-Tourism". Plans for the event will be included in the next update of the AFEJ website.
