Triumph, the insult comic dog, frequently makes appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.  There's not a whole lot to Triumph.  He's just your average talking dog, but there is one thing that sets him aside from the others:  He is truly an insult comic.  He follows up almost everything he says with the phrase "For me to poop on!".  For me to poop on.  There's something about that phrase that cracks me up.  Maybe it is Triumph's heavy accent, or just the fact that he says "poop", another word I find particularly humorous.  Anyway, I recently souped this page up a little bit by organizing the pics and sounds a little better, so I hope you enjoy.

I have resumed making tapes (9/11/2000)!  See below...

New Pics added! (11/13/99)

Check out the new mp3's! (updated 11/19/99)

I just added some Real Audio files of Triumph sketches (4/5/99)

New wavs added (5/22/99)

Sorry I don't update this page as often as I used to.  Medical school is keeping me rather busy.   I hope that all of you got to catch Triumph at the new Westminster show on 2/17.  It was quite hilarious I must say.  I'll try and rotate the mp3's soon though.  Here is an article about Triumph that is pretty good though.   Take a look, if you will (11/4/99).

new5.gif (1068 bytes) Okay, I found this incredibly ridiculous when I first heard about it (about a week ago), but apparently Robert Smigel (the creator and voice of Triumph) is being sued by Pets.com for Triumph's remarks on the Jon Stewart show not long ago.   You can read about it yourself at the below link (4/27/00).

One more thing, lately I haven't been able to watch Conan as much as I'd like to (I heard Triumph was on the other night with Richard Hatch, and I missed it).  So I was wondering if some of you on the East Coast (or on Eastern time in general) could email me on an eve when Triumph is/was on Conan that night.  I'm on Mountain time (2 hours behind Eastern) so that would give me time to see if Triumph is on that night, and it would give me a chance to record it. Thanks!

I have resumed making Triumph VCR tapes after a short hiatus this summer for an internship I had to do.  Please read my following disclaimer regarding the tapes:

*My Triumph Tape Disclaimer*

Yes, I have decided to resume making Triumph tapes. I have, however, raised the price to $15 per tape (but I will supply the VCR tape now rather than having you send me one). This is mainly because I'm now in year #2 of medical school, and I will have VERY little free time, so I figured this may "weed out" some of you who don't REALLY want this tape, thus saving me time. But, I love Triumph and I love sending out the tapes for those of you who haven't seen some of the older sketches or for those of you who simply want a copy to watch 800 times (as I have with mine). So I figured $15 is still pretty fair for 1 hour and 15 minutes of Triumph (see sketch list below); I swear I'm not trying to make a profit off of this. So, for those of you who still want in on this, drop me an email, and I'll send you my address for you to send the $15.

My old Triumph Disclaimer below...(from before this summer)

Lately I've been receiving an awful lot of requests for Triumph sketches on a VCR tape.  I do have about 12 sketches on tape (about 75 minutes worth), and I don't mind at all making a copy of them on a VCR tape and sending them out to you.  What I've done for many people already is this: You send me a blank VCR tape and 10 bucks, and I'll copy the sketches on there, and then I'll send it back to you the next day or soon after.  If you'd like to do this, email me, and I'll give you my address so you can send me a tape.

These are the sketches I have:

-Triumph with Jerry Springer

-Triumph with William Shattner

-Triumph with Tom Arnold

-Triumph's Christmas Special

-Triumph at Westminster (1999)

-Conan and Triumph's Sitcom (Couple of Mutts)

-Triumph in LA (from 11/5/99)

-Triumph in LA part 2 (from 11/11/99)

-Triumph in LA part 3 (from 11/12/99)

-Triumph at Westminster 2000 (from 2/17/00)

new5.gif (1068 bytes)-Triumph with Jon Stewart (from April ? 2000)

new5.gif (1068 bytes)-Triumph's Pets.com Press Conference (from 5/4/2000)

Triumph with John Tesh (from 1997)

new5.gif (1068 bytes) Hey, I just thought of something.  I'm trying to get every Triumph sketch out there on one master tape (to include with the above sketches).  I know some of you out there must have some of the old ones.  These are the sketches I'm still looking for:

-Triumph with David Hasselhoff

-Triumph with Don Rickles

-Triumph's public service announcement

-The original three mini-Westminster sketches (from about 2 or 3 years ago)

-Triumph's Graduation Announcement

-Triumph with Barbara Walters (20/20 Interview)

There may be more, but that's all I can remember off the top of my head.  Here's the deal, I'll trade you, even swap, my sketches for ANY of the sketches listed above (in other words, you won't need to send 15 bucks, just the tape with the sketch(es)).  Email me if you want to do this, and we'll set up the trade.

Hey, if you have any other triumph images or wavs, please email meI can't find much on the internet (I made most of these wavs myself).  Also, I'd love any feedback/suggestions you may have, so fire away.
