A.T. - Just an observation. Seems to me that when people throw so much blame at everyone else (you are wwrong, your parents are wrong, etc etc) it can mean that they are trying very hard to avoid looking at themselves and facing the issues THEY personally have to face. I don't know for sure - but it sounds to me like your wife carries around a lot of anger, which usually means that there's a lot of pain underneath. The best suggestion I have is to keep showing her that you care about her, even if she doesn't care about herself very much right now. Don't give up - you've come too far to quit now. Besides, it's not so unusual to panic when things actually start to get better. Then you have to start hoping again - which means you can be hurt again. Maybe that's what she's going through now. Thinking of you as you work so hard. Keep us posted. You have a lot of good thoughts for the others here. It is appreciated!
