Harvey L. Denham, 44, of McLeansboro, died Sunday, April 16, 2000 at 2:57 p.m. at the Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.

Mr. Denham was a farmer.

He was born January 29, 1956 in Joliet, a son of Harvey and Mary Alice (Clark) Denham. He married Joyce Essary and she survives.

Survivors include his parents, Harvey and Mary Denham of McLeansboro; two sons, Christopher Ray Denham and James Levi Denham, both of McLeansboro; one step-son, Kenneth Leroy Erwin, Jr. of Benton; one daughter, Ellrey E. Denham of McLeansboro; three brothers, Rick Denham, Terry Denham, and Timothy Denham, all of McLeansboro; one sister, Mrs. Martha Rainey of Belle Rive; one grandson, Daniel L. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2000 at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Rev. Ray Essary officiated. Burial was in Richardson Hill Cemetery, near Dahlgren.

Mr. Denham attended the Full Gospel Church in Broughton.

He was a member of the Coon Club at Dale.

He was preceded in death by one niece, Alicia Denham.

Memorials can be made to the family in his memory and will be accepted at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
