2 - 4 oz skeins each Colors A, B, and C
1 - 4 oz skeins each Colors D, E and F
• Plastic Crochet Hook SIZE I OR ANY SIZE WHICH WILL RESULT IN STITCH GAUGE
___MOTIF: Ch 3, 2 sdc (short double crochet) in 1st st of ch (sdc: yarn over hook, insert in st, pull loop through, yarn over and work off all loops at one time), *ch 3, 3 sdc in same space, repeat from * twice, ch 3, join in ch at beg of round.
___2nd ROUND: Ch 1, sc in same space, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sdc, * 2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc in next loop, 1 sc in each of the next 3 sdc, repeat from * twice, 2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc in next loop, join in 1st sc.
___3rd ROUND: Ch 1, 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc in next sc, * ch 3, 1 sc, ch 5, 1 sc in next loop (corner), ch 3, skip next 3 sc, 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc in next sc, repeat from * twice, ch 3, 1 sc, ch 5, 1 sc in next loop, ch 3, join in 1st sc, cut yarn.
___Work a 2nd motif in same manner joining to 1st motif in last round as follows: Ch 1, 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc in next sc, ch 3, sc in next corner loop, ch 2, join to center st of corner loop of 1st motif (to join: drop loop from hook, insert hook in st to be joined, pick up dropped loop and pull through), ch 2, sc in same loop of 2nd motif, ch 3, skip next 3 sc, 1 sc in next sc, ch 1, join to center st of corresponding loop of 1st motif, ch 1, sc in same sc of 2nd motif, ch 3, skip next 3 sc, sc in next corner loop, ch 2, join to center st of next corner loop of 1 st motif, ch 2, sc in same loop of 2nd motif, complete round same as last round of 1st motif.
Work according to chart for color scheme joining all motifs in same manner. Work 1 fill-in-motif in F in each opposite corner at neck edge.
___FILL-IN-MOTIF: Ch 6, 3 sdc in 1st of ch, ch 3, 3 sdc in same st, ch 3, 1 sdc in same st, cut yarn, do not turn.
___2nd ROW: Attach yarn in 3rd st of loop at beg, ch 4, 2 sc in same loop, 1 sc in each of next 3 sdc, 2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc in next loop, 1 sc in each of next 3 sdc, 2 sc in next loop, ch 1, dc in last sdc, cut yarn, do not turn.
___3rd ROW: Attach yarn in 3rd st of 1st loop, ch 2, working in corner of neck opening, join to corner loop of 1st motif, ch 2, sc in same loop of fill-in-motif, ch 3, skip next 3 sc, sc in next sc, ch 1, join to corresponding loop of same motif, ch 1, sc in same sc of fill-in-motif, ch 3, sc in next loop, ch 2, join to joining of motifs, ch 2, sc in same loop of fill-in-motif, ch 3, skip next 3, sc, sc in next sc, ch 1, join to corresponding loop of next motif, ch 1, sc in same loop of fill-in-motif, ch 3, 1 sc in next loop, ch 2, join to next loop of same motif, ch 2, sl st in sdc of fill-in-motif, do not turn.
