"Everywhere I turn all the beauty just keeps shaking me."
Indigo Girls

Sign: Entering Rocky Mountain National ParkI'm Mike Molloy, and I enjoy hiking and snowshoeing in the Estes Park, Colorado, USA and Rocky Mountain National Park area. Mike's Hikes has two main purposes:

Provide complete information on hikes & trails in the RMNP area.

Document hikes I've done, via reports and photos.

There are hundreds of miles of hiking trails in this area, and I've barely scratched the surface. I've never had a "bad" hike and I doubt there is such a thing. The natural beauty I see when I hike is so awesome it sometimes brings a lump to my throat. I often think to myself, "Now this is a good use of my tax dollars!"

The areas covered by this site include: Rocky Mountain National Park, Indian Peaks (east and west), the Mummy Range, Never Summer Mountains, and Grand Lake.

It was an honor for this site to be chosen the Backcountry Home Page Cool Site of the Month for November 1996. It also got a small review in The Net Magazine, April '97. May '97: Received an "A" grade/review from Sitegrade. June '97: Selected as a Peak to Peak Trail and Wilderness Links Feature Site.

If you have any questions, please look at the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section first, particularly for nonhiking questions about RMNP and the Estes Park area.

Your comments and feedback are always welcome via email or the guestbook. Thanks for visiting; see you on the trail!
