FTL are a company that created some great games in the 80's. Despite there small size, FTL products were consistently number one sellers and received the highest critical acclaim and industry awards.

Sundog, a space trading adventure, was the best selling product of any kind on the Atari ST in 1986. Sundog was originally released for the Apple ][ computer in 1982.

The arcade game OIDS received 5 mice from MacWorld, their highest rating, after it was released in 1990. OIDS was originally released for the Atari ST in 1987.

Dungeon Master was the best selling product of all time on the Atari ST (and possibly on the Commodore Amiga as well) and won virtually every major award when it was first released in 1987, including the first ever Special Award for Artistic Achievement from Computer Gaming World. It established a new standard for Fantasy Role-Playing games. Dungeon Master was eventually released on over a dozen different platforms in six languages.

Dungeon Master II: The Legend of Skullkeep was first released in Japan in December, 1993 and was the number one selling game the week after it was released. The U.S. and European versions (Mac, PC and Amiga) were released by Interplay Productions in 1995 and 1996.
