of the Forum: |
| The assassination
of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy,
was both a national and an international tragedy of massive proportions.
The JFKresearch Message Board is dedicated to sharing theories,
research information, and intelligent debate and discussion of
various related issues. The "research community" in
this case is generally divided into two major schools: |
| 1) those
that believe there was a conspiracy to murder JFK, and/or a conspiracy
to cover it up, and |
| 2) those
that believe the case was solved with the publication of the
Report of the Warren Commission in 1964 (i.e. that Lee Harvey
Oswald alone planned and killed JFK without help from any other
entity. |
| Proponents
of both groups are welcome here, as are those who remain neutral
and those who have yet to form an opinion. |
| The
JFKresearch Assassination Forum is a "flame-free" zone.
That means that participants are free to express their views,
theories, opinions, and to share the results of individual research
and works-in-progress without being harshly criticized ridiculed,
or subjected to personal attack by other participants. Totally
unrelated, off topic posts are not allowed and will be deleted
by the Board Administrator at his discretion. In other words:
No Spam . |
| Messages
promoting the publication of research papers, articles, and books
are permissible as long as they are germane to the JFK case. |
| "Screen
names" are not allowed . Participants will use their actual
FIRST and LAST names and valid email addresses. Anonymous
posters are not allowed. Participants are free to attack ideas.

| Various
facets of the case often cause emotions to run high. Participants
will utilize private email should they feel the need to vent
their spleen at another participant. Also, in order to promote
free expression in a non-confrontational manner it is recommended
that each participant check their ego at the door. |
| "Lurkers"
(those who visit the message board and **read** more often than
**write**) are welcome here and are not to be criticized or chastised
for not actively participating. There are many less experienced
individuals who have much to learn about this case. Let's help,
not hinder, them. |
| Please
restrict the number of email addresses to -- one -- when posting
here. |
| All
participants will adhere to these rules. There will be no additional
"warnings." Failure to comply will result in messages
being deleted. There will be no explanations given. Repeat offenders
will have ALL their messages deleted and/or will be banned
from participating further. Repeated requests/demands by one
member to another member is a common method of disruption and
will not be allowed here. If a member declines a request, that
is where it ends. |
| All determinations
will be made solely by the Board Administrator whose decisions
are final. It is our intent to provide and maintain a friendly,
hospitable place for JFK researchers to communicate and be treated
with intellectual respect. |
| This
is a CLOSED, private forum available to members only. Membership
is open to all who are willing to comply with these rules. This
is not a public forum nor is it a part of the USENET.
It is privately funded. Members agree not to email or otherwise
provide posts appearing in this forum which are authored by someone
other than themselves to individuals not subscribed here except
by using the provided "Email To A Friend" utility.
Emailing messages or portions of messages to former members who
were banished is prohibited. |
