A List of All the Eunuchs in the Bible

Note: The word for eunuch is translated by the word highlighted: In most cases in the Hebrew scriptures the root word is:

cariyc, saw-reece'; or caric, saw-reece'; from an unused root mean. to castrate; a eunuch; by impl. valet (espec. of the female apartments), and thus a minister of state:--chamberlain, eunuch, office

In Gen 40:1-23, 41:9, I Ki 10:5, 2 Chron 9:4, Neh 1:11 the root word is

mashqeh, mash-keh'; from H8248; prop. causing to drink, i.e. a butler; by impl. (intrans.) rink (itself); fig. a well-watered region:--butler (-ship), cupbearer, drink (-ing), fat pasture, atered.

It is less certain that this means "eunuch", although it is used about a variety of servants who would ofetn have been eunuchs. [think of Ganymede, cupbearer to the Greek Gods].
