  a site entirely independent of religious and confessional bias and the distorting effects of Christian piety and, too often, Christian (and Jewish) scholarship. This web site is a forum for presenting the results of new learning in a clear, simple and accessible way to the general public. It is devoted to the free, unimpeded no-nonsense critical examination of the Bible, its texts and their historical context.

  Ever heard a parrot reciting scripture? I mean a REAL BIRD! "Despite some brimstone shockers, the show is gentle; no crucifixion scenes or Old Testament pillars of salt.
